The Theme for GT26 is …

At the very beginning of His public ministry, Jesus proclaimed: “Repent, for the Kingdom of God is at hand” (Matthew 4:17). He begins not with rules or threats, but with an invitation. The Greek word metanoia (μετάνοια) points to something deeper than regret for sin; it is a transformation of mind and heart, a turning of our whole life toward God.

Yet it is easy for us to grow comfortable in the ways we see the world, ourselves, and even God. In our humanity, we can become settled in familiar patterns and habits that distance ourselves from the life God desires for us. Christ continually calls us to renewal, to allow Him to reshape our hearts and lead us into the freedom of His Kingdom.

At this year’s GT, we hope to take a step back from daily life to pray, listen, and examine our hearts. Where is Christ inviting me to change? What attachments are holding me back? Where is the Kingdom already at work in my life?
